The Bird Rock Community Wall at the Waverly Gate Entrance is an ongoing beautification project that tells a story about the Bird Rock community. The Bird Rock Community Wall was created with a 3-fold purpose: to honor members of the community, to raise funds, and to support the beautification projects located near the new Waverly Gate entrance to Bird Rock Park. Each tile is hand stamped. Proceeds go towards Bird Rock Elementary and other neighborhood beautification projects.
Dedicate a tile to a family, relative, child, friend, teacher, neighbor, special person, pet, organization, business, or yourself. Order a tile in memory of, in honor of, or in celebration of a loved one, an outstanding teacher or person, or a pet or event. Mark a special occasion. Be creative!
The 2014 theme celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Bird Rock Community Council founded in 1994.
